Gandhi is the MAN!

One thing for sure is if I find I'm up against Gandhi in any game I know I'll almost certainly have to wage war on him at some point. He's almost always the tech leader or thereabouts.

I played Gandhi once, the fast worker gave me such an advantage I got bored, although this was only on Monarch, and a while ago.

I agree with matey about this UU being all game long, it has to be a big advantage. Having said that, put a horse archer into Gandhi's territory, by the time he has any military worth noting you've enslaved all his workers anyway!

Civ ON!

As jimbo said, changing more than 1 civic at one stilll results in the same 1 turn of anarchy. Changing 1 civic, then another, then another will result in 3 turns of anarchy total.

I had 4 turns of anarchy while I changed 4 civics at a time. I wished i had a spirtiual leader...
Is ist possible that this is related to game speed as i am playing epic at the moment?

I think it depends on which civics you are changing, and maybe depends on which civics you have at the time.

I've been able to switch from the basic civics to hereditary rule, slavery and organized religion and only suffered 1 turn of anarchy. It could also be level dependent, I dunno.

I agree that the UU for India is very, very, useful indeed - especially at the start of the game. You can churn out infrastructure far quicker than your rivals and get a good advantage on them.

The spiritual trait is nice, too :D
