Was able to start a game this morning by putting an underscore in front of the AI folder name. However, have noticed the following bugs while playing as India on a Highland map:

1. The slider bar on the bottom of the expanded research tree is missing for me, so I am not able to scroll to the right to access higher level technology. Am playing Civ-5 in windowed mode, but did not previously encounter this situation.

2. The "AI Priorities (debug info)" text phrase is showing up in lots of places.

3. My starting warrior unit is not able to attack barbarian units. My city can still bombard them, but that takes too long to kill them off.

That's it for now - back to more testing.

Okay, just discovered that the Scout units I've built CAN attack Barbarian units.

However, they are too weak to be able to do so without suiciding themselves. Will have to build additional units later on to see if they can attack too.

1. Could you post your lua.log file after loading up the tech tree?
2. This is intended for the beta test stage of the project. Click for details.
3. G&K made a few changes to combat I don't like, but that will improve once we get to the GEM:Armies stage of the beta test. :)

Have been out shopping today (bought a new dishwasher for our house), but am finally back and able to post the lua.log file you requested.

Am posting two lua.log files, just to be safe.

The first file (lua-1.log) is from before opening the expanded tech tree, and the second file (lua-2.log) is from after opening the expanded tech tree.

Am also attaching my database.log file.

Hope these files help.

Was also using some other mods, so just to be sure I wasn't giving you a red herring alarm, I cut back to using only the newest CivUP v32 and GEM v1.05.

This caused the slider bar at the bottom of the expanded technology tree to become visible again, so this means CivUP/GEM was probably not the cause of that particular problem.

P.S. Noticed that the GEM v1.05 file keeps converting itself into a folder named G&K Enhanced Mod (Beta 9)(V 1); however, it does show up as v1.05 beta inside the Capital city, so no harm done.

The reason the file converts is we are actually not able to do "major.minor.build" version numbering with mods right now. I asked the devs for it, but there's some technical limitations in the way mods are distributed that make it difficult.

OK, no real problem with the GEM mod numbering, since the mod works well, and that's the most important thing.

P.S. After extensive trial & error testing tonight, I discovered that it was the Kronborg Wonder mod that I had been previously using that was causing the slider bar to disappear from underneath the expanded technology tree. Once the Kronborg mod was deactivated, even with using some other Wonder mods, the slider bar worked fine.

Kronborg didn't previously cause me problems, but perhaps it now conflicts with some recent changes to GEM. Oh well, serves me right for trying to load up a bunch of extra Wonder mods.
