I'm looking to start a game with Genghis Khan just b/c hes so damn badass in real life :backstab: heh

You guys know any strategies I could use with him or how to make the most of his traits, UU, UB?

You people are useless..

Anyway ... Initially focus on basic worker tech's. You begin with The Wheel and Hunting, so Agriculture (:food:) and Mining (:hammers:) will be high priorities along with Animal Husbandry for Horses and other Pastures. You'll also want Bronze Working for whips and chops, and Pottery for both the Granary and Cottages. Once you've got your basics lined up, got access to Horses, build at least one Chariot who will be your Medic (Imperialistic trait) - Chariots perform useful anti-Barbarian and/or pillaging roles anyway, so having a few will be handy. Watch for neighbours who go into Slavery, as they will have Bronze Working and therefore can identify Copper and in liklihood build Spears. From there, Archery and Horseback Riding. Build Barracks and Gers in unit pump cities. There should be some focus on Keshiks but not exclusively - it's typically best to use mixed forces with a number of Axes and a few Spears in your SoDs. Keshiks to pillage Iron and Copper mines as a priority. Raze cities that aren't spectacular, and use these plunderings to fund your research towards Currency and/or Code of Laws rather than get stuck with an unmanagably large empire that drains your finances. While an aggressive and dominating mindset is clearly beneficial, don't completely forgo your domestic responsibilities - start working on a science city or two in addition to your unit pumps.

Genghis Strat ... which is 'vanilla' Civ4 but still of some relevance.
