Hey,

Anyone working on a George W Bush as a Terrorist Dictator Mod?

-George W Bush refuses to leave office after his second term.
-He appoints a Military General in charge of CIA and controls the police force this way.
-He also has control of the Military and ushers in Military rule.
-The World joins forces to rid the World of this evil Dictator!
-Bushes only ally is Britian and Tony Blair.

Sound like a good believable mod?

Make differrent way - after few terroris attacks, georgie introduce police state and changes in constitution gives him a lot of power. Then he starts the war wich is bringing more and more countries from the muslim world,

after using nuclear weapons on iran, paquistan, egipt, by USA, european countries leave NATO and start support muslim armies with cash and weapons.

Georgie becomes very angry, and he sais: "Who's not with us, is agains't us" and starts nuclear launch on europe". Before war he makes pact with China and Soviet Union dividing world into three parts - american, chinese and russian, and cold war starts and world from orwell's 1984 becomes true

Hey,

Is it really that far of a stretch to believe? He calls others terrorists yet he justifies killing people not being a terrorist because his beliefs are more right then someone elses? Im not for anyone dying yet I think he isnt so good himself. It would be cool to make a mod of him as an Evil tyrant!

PS. Im so glad Im Canadian. I feel sorry for all the Americans who have to live under this clown!

my opinion :

I'm not for MOD based on reality in that game .I was very disapointed to see appearing leaders as the dumb who began the Second World War (one must never forgotten what it did, but perhaps that its name should be forgotten) .

A MOD only directed against George W Bush as would be perhaps forgotten that the majority of the democracies in this world are in situation of interference . So , i think that CivilizationIV must keep just a game .

I think people should be able to post their ideas, even if they tread on sensitivities.

However, they should also be prepared to face the criticism that may follow.

I would say, though, that this is a forum for gaming and if the only purpose of a post is to incite others, then this is perharps an inappropriate venue.

Obviously it is not believable, however it is not totally un-realistic. The part where Bush takes tyrannical action is fine with me, but Tony Blair wouldn't support Bush if he took said actions.

This idea does soud crazy... It's not exactly easy to "introduce police state and changes in constitution gives him a lot of power," so the scenario doesn't sound likely. But I'm sure someone always wants to make a mod about how evil America is when they're sitting geographically to the south of them...
