Before I disappear for 2 weeks, I figured I would throw out eine idee. Perhaps we could get the government to rename a city for us, give one a proper Deutsche name? After all, das Vikings have already had a city changed to Vallhalla. Are they more important than us? I think not. Anyway, its just an idea, so tell me what you think. Open to criticism here.

I'm not exactly an expert on German culture. If anyone has any ideas, make some suggestions. Maybe we can get Fox Nest renamed.

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Laub came to the US straight from the Fatherland. My wife is also German (from Wolfenbuetel) so I'm extra German by osmosis.

In the event we DO get a good name, I am pretty sure I'm still able to rename one of the cities in my province. They're all small and underdeveloped, so I'm not sure if anyone actually wants to German name on one of them.

I've been away and obviously missed something. When did we go to war with the Iroquis?
Anyway, I don't really think that "City of Peace" really fits into the German history and mentality. In my opinion, we have soldier in our blood. I think this war is the perfect oportunity to get a name changed. Octavian, what cities do you have rule over? I think the easiest way would be to get an underdeveloped city renamed and build it up afterwards, unless someone has an idea for a willing metropolis. That's only temporary, Octavian. As soon as you're re-elected you'll be able to rename it.

I just remebered something. A new city is to built in my province, the last one under the PEP. I don't know who gets to name it, but we can ask that person to name it for us.
