GERMAN WARS PHASE TWO

We can already say we won "German Wars Phase One", the Pyramid Wars.
Second of all, we are now in the phase two, which seems to be a geographically quite immense operation in geographic scope. Having looked closer at the saves, we need to fight wars without catapults for another hundred years (10 turns), yet, we are more than capable to take out Cologne and Dortmund, their Western Inland cities, both of which have no walls.

With the conquest of these two cities (Cologne and Dortmund), we can get a north-south coverage which is quite mindblowing, from pole to pole, with the reach of Roman Hamburgs iron (The only Roman iron in a short distances reach).

With this strategy, we are more tuned to close the German War with an attack West-East in the axises of Berlin-Tartar and Cologne-Frankfurt/Essen, whereas a southern army goes from Equus Aurum through newly founded Stuttgart (courtesy Grant2004 that found it) and ends up in Essen.
This will be a race between the Cologne force and the Equus Aurum force to get their first.

I intend to appoint four Generals for this war, to be responsble for planning the following theatre operations. We need more participation in the demogame, and by appointing Boyans, we can distribute some of the fun and fascinating work.

Southern Coast Invasion - Campaign Window 1520-1600
"Race for the Twin Lakes"

I would like to ask firstly Grant2004 if he wants to plan the Equus Aurum based jungle war campaign, fighting his way from Equus Aurum through Stuttgart and ending up in Essen, racing against another General.
This battle will be fought by all Mongol Infantry, as the terrain is all jungle along the coast. Of course, the general will be given a keshik in his name.

Eastern Forest Campaign - Campaign window 1520-1600
"Siege of Frankfurt"

This position is open, but I want someone apt and motivated for the challenge. The troops will march out of Cologne, a classical campaign army of six mongol infantry, three catapults and of course Mongol general represented by a renamed keshik. Now you can see why I saved them.

Eastern Forest Campaign - Campaign window 1520-1600
"Siege of Tartar"
This position is open, but I want someone apt and motivated for the challenge. The troops will march out of Berlin, a classical campaign army six mongol infantry, three catapults and of course Mongol general represented by a renamed keshik. This mission is slightly more challenging than the Frankfurt one, as there is a spearman guarding iron outside the city. All German units have to fall.

Winter Campaign - Campaign window 1520-1600
"Battle of the Winter Sea"
This position is open, but I want someone apt and motivated for the challenge. The troops will march out of Dortmund, a reconnaissance Army of six mongol infantry and of course a Mongol general represented by a renamed keshik. This mission is the most challenging one, as you will be far from home, with no reinforcements but possibly a catapult with escort sent in from Berlin.
You will also be the first Mongol General to fight the Romans ever since the legendaric war that gave us Cumae and Pisae.

I will personally lead the attack the Antium, and make plans for that in the same time-window. 1520-1600. Healthy survivors from Antium and Hamburg will move onto Ravenna, and close the last deal with the Romans, before we kill them off.

I would also like the citizens to give counsel on how to take Dortmund and Cologne in the immediate war.

That thread was on how to balance peace and war in order to extort tech, but with some war-planning on a grander scale as a backdrop.

This is for particular phases on a much more tactical level.
