I talked of my intentions of making a World War 2 mod in another thread "A Germany Mod"
I've looked at some posts about WW2 mods --- Nice work by the way! ---
but I feel a simpler and more combat oriented mod would be better.
Starts spring 1942
short tech tree : 10 tech ~
Few civics : Economy - Labor
Fixed diplomacy : Leaders would have permanent alliances with allies only option would be to surrender -- Unconditional Surrender
few ressources
world map - Huge
5 civs
winning conditions : capturing key cities or unconditionnal surrender from enemy
only military units to build
3 upgrades max per units
Ressources like oil would have unlimited supplies (war lasted 6 years) production will be limitless but production time is according to units.
It's a work in progress and I await suggestions to make it better.
I don't want to make it too complicated "KISS" but I want to make it accurate (UU only, re-skinned units, map, units stats ect...).
Here we go!
My main basis for this mod is the axis and allies boardgame.

The map I've attached shows the way I want the borders to be (lets start right in the action)
I'm thinking how the mechanics of the game should be for this to be simple to manage (ressources and all) having 80% of building military units and combat and 20 % managing.
Now I want your feedbacks tell me what you think!
I want suggestions - name for units, specs for units, dynamics of the game ect....
