Hello folks
I had trouble hosting a conquests game a few weeks ago and came here and got it up and running thanks to the great sticky at the top of this page.
However I had to do a complete reinstall of XP and now cannot host. I ran through the sticky again and still am stumped.
I am trying to host a direct IP. All my router settings are the same. I never changed those and don't see why they would be causing any trouble since they weren't effected by the reinstall. Tried shutting down the new SP2 firewall per microsofts instructions also.
I am just bangging my head against the wall here, just last week I hosted, now nothing. I think I've ran out of ideas as to what it could be.
Hoping someone knows a way to narrow the possible causes down or maybe something I am missing.
Any help would be great, gotta get this figured out before IV comes out!
