Gfc Error

Hi all.


Im installing the 0.33 version at C:\juegos\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods .

But this game crash and return at windows with error.

This error coming when loading init engine and mark : GFC ERROR : failed to initialize the primary control theme.

What the problem plz

Same problem here. I've not had any other issues with other mods, so I'm not sure why this mod is being so difficult.

I have the solution. Uninstall the Civ4 and install again in "Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Mods"

I'm having the same problem here, but that solution wont work, got Civ4 through steam.

Any suggestions?

I've come to understand that FFH needs to be upgraded to FFH 2 in order to patch with 0.33 and above. I don't know if this works or not because I'm having trouble finding a downloadable version of FFH2, but that information is what's provided at another troubleshooting thread here. I can't seem to track it down again though. Sorry.

i have the same problem, but i saw this further down the page:

I am getting a GFC Error when I try to load the game, but I am certain I installed FfH!
Check your FfH Folder to ensure that you have within that a folder titled Assets and another titled Resource. If you do not have both then you only installed the patch for FfH, and not the main file.
