Im having a very odd issue with GFX, that only shows up when I try to play mods and even not every one.
Im getting a lot of blinking artifacts on screen - contours of tile, part of tiles, small rectangles quickly flashing on the screen. I attached a screenie where you can see a few - this is a static screen, so it looks minor, but when you have loads of those flashing all the time around its very hard to play. The intensity of flashing increases as time passes, so for a first couple minutes those are barely noticeable, after a few minutes it looks like entire screen was blinking. Also in some cases the game freezes.
Ive tried different driver version for my GF6600GT, played around with various settings in civ4 and it still doesnt solve the problem.
Strangest thing is, that I can play unmodded Civ4 without any problems, as at least one other mod EE3 (European Empires). Other mods make the artifacts show up (namely Song of the Moon, XX Century, Sevo Fusion, Fall from Heaven). I have consistent freezes after 5-10 minutes of play in XX Century and Sevo Fusion.
Any ideas ? Im sort of out of them
