Gee, I don't know how many of those "minature camera" popups I've seen on the web lately? They all show a picture of an attractive women in the background, and have a 1/2 page pic of a minature camera.

I have some advice for anyone that owns some boobies.

Be very careful over the next 5 years, 'coz there's gonna be camaras under toilet seats, behind toilet's, in change rooms, behind plants, in cielings, behind one way mirrors, embedded in walls, in gymnasiums, locker rooms, under kitchen tables, office tables, desks, restaurant tables, under glass floors... I could keep typing for an hour.

Just watch out LOL

You're right, MrLen. The cameras are so friggin' small these days...I'm sure there'll be a massive scandal involving them, some pervert, and a public washroom someday

There already was a thing... this guy was walking around a carnaval site, with a camera in the toe of his shoe looking up girls skirts, loser.

I can remember even Sony did a huge mistake. I think you all remember too. Last year (?) they released a camera with a special function that allowed to record even in total darkness. Unfortunately, the Sony engineers didn't "notice" that if you enable this function when not in darkness (ie under normal lighting) the system becomes so powerful that it can penetrate through clothing. In other words, on the day, if you turn the night option on, you can see people in "zero-kini"

Fearing a scandal, Sony withdrew all those cameras from market. But those who already owned one wouldn't sell it. Or would sell it very expensive
biggrin.gif

Now a philosohical discussion: what would you use this camera for if you owned one? Would you "accidentaly" leave the night mode on when you're at the beach?

I think I would certainly utilize it's "strength"

I'm just skeptical as to how well the c-thru vision really works.........

Yeah, I saw another one of those mini camera ads saying something like "Hey we didn't tell you to use the cameras to spy on people!" with a picture of a half naked chick. They claim it should be used for "security", but market it directly at perverts.

riiight

It doesn't have to be a miniature camera.
There have been news shows disclosing cameras of regular size mounted in motel rooms, bath rooms, dressing rooms, etc.

As far as the x-ray capabilities, I'm just going to get some of those cool x-ray glasses I see advertised.
woo hoo!

I remember that camera with that 'special function' although I am not sure if it's a Sony. Raised such an outcry in puritan Singapore that it was immediately banned. Although I will imagine there are still a few lying about......

In this old movie, I forget the name, but something about how to kill Jesus. Anyway, this guy is mistaken for a secret agent (the real agent is gone).

SO, he is given all this high tech stuff, including these x-ray glasses, and he uses them to see through girls' shirts and cheats in blackjack with them. Sweet, eh? They look just like regular shades.

'Accidently'? Never! Absolutely not! How can you consider it? I don't believe you sick, horny people!

I remember that there was some guy who somehow got this camera and posted lots of pics on his site. The site was closed later.

Every technology, whether it's tiny cameras, computers, cars, gunpowder, whatever, has potential for good and bad. Technology is a tool, it is the person who uses the tool that decides between good and evil. Now some technology lends itself more easily to evil than good (e.g. nuclear bombs), while others more easily to good than evil (e.g. penicillin). Ultimately however, we are responsible for how we make use of what tools we have been given.

Thus ends my philisophical/ethical rambling for today.

Ok, Fish but I don't think you'll need such a night-webcam, since we needn't see your "rodeo" exploits in bed

biggrin.gif

And btw, that reminds me so many people who don't have anything else than sticking a webcam in their bedroom and in the toilets/bathroom... Insane voyeurism.

To finish on a historical note: do you know who "invented" the first webcam?
Ok I'll give the answer later. Tips: coffee machine, Xerox.
Unfortunately, this legendary 1st webcam ever, that was a real success all over the internet (millions of people saw it), is no more

vladmir_illych_lenin I remember that film...late night channel 4 :o :D

I think it was called, well it is in this list:

http://tvstarpages.com/john_lithgow/career.htm

(at that time of night and watching that type of filum...it weren't porn, it was light humour with some nudity I can't remember the name of it :( )

What amazed me was the dude in that was in THAT film was a world class actor (or soon to be) John Lithgow! One of the traits about the film was that it was kinda black&white UNTIL he put on the glasses! Didn't think much of the Russian agent with the sickle tattooed on her...

Well, I've certainly trawled the depths for this thread!

I don't agree with the sales angle.
It's rather lame if you ask me.

Indeed, they are much more useful for survelance of suspects. By the, what is that substance in the plastic bag by your right hand?
:D

Man, this thread is still alive?
Hey mankind is getting sick bout those kind of perversion...
After all, what's the point in seeing a girl's panties. Must be boring. It's like watching a porn movie. I think once you've seen one, you've seen them all. No need to make a mess. Anyway. I'm perhaps too philosophical for this forum :D
