So I was wondering if anyone has given any thought to or has an idea for implementing a unit inventory? Essentially like the trusty sack of an RPG character where items can be found throughout the world and carried around by units for unique modifiers.
I was thinking that this would be a neat starting block for a fantasy/RPG conversion mod for the game, or something the lines of a Fallout style world where units scavenge the ruins of the old civilizations and find useable items.
Edit: Forgot to mention I am thinking that the "Great Works" screen might be a good starting option. Give each unit a button that opens up a modified Great Works screen that is only for that unit. There items could be stored.
