GMR: Scarcity

There was no good reason for the war actually. The previous dane didnt want me to scout behind him (there was nothing btw) so he declared war. I have no interest in it and my warrior is fortified just because I dont want him to get killed.
I will accept a neutral peace treaty with you. My quarrel was with Harald the first, you will not inherit his bad reputation, unless you want it.

I think I got free pop from ruin twice, but reverting that many times seems to change the random seeds.

mblum is now controlling the Byzantine fortunes. My civilization has met only a couple of civs and we can see the lands of only the Incans.

As I play in more of these games I am getting a feel for the different players and their styles. I am learning which players are the dangerous ones to be next to early and which ones are great at tinkering with a civilization to maximize output.

I am hoping to develop a reputation for being a very strategic player who believes in the power of diplomacy. I am always open to listening to deals. I am a mathematical and strategic person by nature, but the human element is what makes these games interesting and in that realm math doesn't always give helpful answers and strategy becomes complex and messy.

I go skying next week without civ. Is it possible to stop the timer please ?
I may find someone to play my turn during this period.

I dont notice it the same way some do, like kiffe. I understand that people with fewer games notice faster when turns are not played and I dont want to hold up the wrong ones.

In that case I will put back the 3 day timer to help you notice this game.

I reverted my turn. I can't load the game at all the screen always got back to desktop.

Beware the Inca.

There was that gorgeous spot between us, near the salt, which I was all set to grab and keep you penned up behind the mountains. You probably had the same idea. But then the AI moved my settler, etc, so I let it go. Still curious what happened, though.

we are not interested in that spot but certainly could be a good puppet if like you said. We have the tundra land behind to settle.

Edit: honestly I havent scouted there yet :cringe:
