Hey, I've played a few games of Beyond Earth now, and figured it's time to try to have some fun and activate the "God Mode" like they had in Civilization 4 (I skipped 5).

But I can't seem to figure out how to do it. It's possible, right? I'd like to build my own customized continent for my civilization, tiles and resources. Maybe do one game as the only player too, where I'm just focused on the aliens and colonizing the whole planet. Stuff like that. Do one game with no aliens. One where I can manipulate how much money each civilization has. Changing a wonder from one city to another. Normal civ cheats like that.

You could just use the mod IGE (in game editor) on the steam workshop.

Just tried it, it's not opening, some in the comments for it say it only works on Macs.

But shouldn't there already be one built into the game too, like there was for Civ 4, Civ 3, Civ 2, etc.?

I don't think there is one built in. And the mod should work, I've used it multiple times. Just make sure you're using the version for Rising tide if you have it. It will specify what version it's for in the mod description.

Well, there is FireTuner which can act as somewhat of a low-level pseudo-editor if you really can't get IGE to work, information about that tool can be found via google.

Other than that no, there is no cheating tool included in the game, but for Rising Tide IngameEditorBERT works just fine for me (on Win10), no idea why it doesn't work for other people. The other IngameEditor, for those who don't have the DLC, seems to be slightly outdated, but from what I can tell it seems to work as well.

I don't have Rising Tide, just the normal BE. That's the version of the IGE I downloaded. But when I pressed the key combination, after loading the game with that mod, nothing happened.
