Is it worth taking for the gold/food/faith or are natural wonders the key?
Have a game now with 6 mountains in cap = 3g3f3f but ...
sort of wonder, similar gold is easy to get with open sky or even tutelary, is that food worth anything (Ill get like 3 mountain citys and possibly a 4th with natural wonder but no mountains).

TLDR what terrain (if any) makes god of nature worth taking?

Natural Wonders are nice if you have at least one. Mountains are key. Food and Gold are a nice push but not the reason to take the pantheon.

It is just all about getting your pantheon working from the get-go without doing anything (no building, no improvements, nothing), start making faith and get in a good position in the religion race. Tutelary needs 3 pop and is only 1 faith, you are gonna have trouble founding a religion with that. Open Sky is really good, but if you are not in flat terrain you are not going to make enough faith. If you dont see any other pantheon that fits your terrain/monopoly, Nature is a good decision to go for IMO

Yes, the "no actions required" is nice, also considering protection which is nice as warmonger but can be a bit rough to form with.
Maybe I should try ancestors (went stonehenge).

Yeah 6 mountains is fine, and will multiply up with more cities. As already mention that fact is gives a bonus right away is huge. Other pantheons require to give bonuses, a smaller bonus earlier is generally better than a bigger one later on.

Im not convinced, it requires pop increase to scale which means it wont really scale that fast.
A benefit compared to open sky and renewal is that I can work whatever tiles but the other two provide culture and generally scale much better (mountains are more rare unless the map is tailored for it).
The other two also have additional benefits, pastures for open sky and markets for renewal.

Ok, played a game with more mountains and I miscalculated earlier.
Its really good, there is somewhat of a loss in culture compared to some of the other beliefs but cities grow a lot, faith and gold generation is great, so as long as you have production tiles around....
Can start new cities granary -> monument -> shrine and still be able to found.
