Did they release a demo for CIV 1 2 or 3?

I think there is one for SMAC.

There was no demo for Civ III released. I don't know about Civ I & II definitively, but seeing as both effectively pre-date the internet as a broad social phenomenon, I doubt that downloadable demos were released for them either.

there was a demo for civ 3 conquests released, so there is a possibility of a demo for civ 4.

I preordered thru EB games. They have changed the projected ship date to 11/15. They state the publisher did not give them a firm ship date ( this will most likely be pushed back, again!) Was to ship october 25th?? So the real answer is, who knows??????? And I already put in for 2 vacation days oct 27-28!! EB notified me the 15th, so this may be old news to some of you.

AllHailCeasar - That is funny that you say that. The release date was scheduled for November 15th but they moved up the release date to late October. I also pre-ordered Civ4 and EB Games emailed me after the release date was changed and said I would be getting my game November 15th. I don't know why they made that mistake but maybe they have corrected it. I hope they do because I dont want to get my game in the mail 21 days after it comes out.

Indeed, I don't want to wait 21 days either! Sounded like a great deal, especially with the "pre order only package" I really still want that, hope that doesn't crap out either!! Guess have to move vacation days to november!!

I was at the Seattle Electonics Boutique at Northgate Shopping Center this afternoon and the clerk said Civ IV was to be available at the store on October 25th. He said this information is as of yesterday.
