This thread was started because I have recently heard from a reliable source that Perfect Dark II will be made for the Gamecube. My inital reaction was "about damn time". Then I thought about it. The story in Perfect Dark is rubbish. However the story in Goldeneye was great. So I thought what if they created a sequel to Goldeneye but with a Perfect Dark-style multiplayer? So which one would you like to see Perfect Dark II or Goldeneye II?

why not both?...

greedy.

PD II. Rareware no longer has the rights on bond, so EA would probably make Goldeneye II. And that would suck. And besides, PD was an infinetely better game than G'eye, story or not.

Both are very good but GoldenEye would be the one.Perfect Dark was kinda known as GoldenEye2 unofficially.

Perfect Dark was a very good expansion on the GoldenEye game, but why all the future sci-fi stuff?..must have been a licensing thing. It runs along fine, really grabs you storyline wise when all of a sudden you have this adorable grey alien helping you and you are after large green lizard people. Its just gets silly.
GoldenEye, on the otherhand, stays on Earth. Its far fetched with international spy organizations and whatnot but it stays fairly realistic.I still play it today.

Perfect Dark was aptly named as well. Many areas were just that.Perfectly dark. You couldn't see worth a darn.
Lighting in GoldenEye was superb. My #2 all time game.

Goldeneye 2, I would definitely buy that without hesitating.

Perfect dark was poor compared to goldeneye i think it was the bond story and setting that made it infinitely superior

agree with me or die :hammer:

Goldeneye... I to, still play it And beat the whole thing on-one-hit-kills. Although I have no objections to the new Perfect Dark Zero.

But Perfect Dark, well:

"Its got no style, You know what im Saying";)
