Gosu strat involving forts?

I recently noticed that Open Borders permits your workers to enter your rival's territory and build forts.

You can build forts on their mature cottages, destroying them and sending them back to the stone age - without declaring war, or taking a single diplomacy hit.

Is this supposed to happen?

BTW, yeah, I like to play a little bit of WC3. And DotA too, lol... when I don't feel like microing. I don't play any SC because I don't feel up to it; I think it takes a lot more apm to play starcraft properly than warcraft.

Yes, apm = actions per minute.

APM was my only bottleneck in SC, as I cap around 100 and generally average closer to 60-80 when playing seriously. I had all the strats and timing down though so occasionally I'd beat good ladder players. Touching the pros is another thing entirely.

WC3 was definitely more forgiving than SC in terms of micro, but heroes kind of ruined what would have been a very dynamic game for ladder play...although their effects certainly make DOTA great.
