I looked in the FAQ's and the reference section and cannot find my answer - and I don't own the game anymore so can't fire it up and look in there.

what is the bonus with a farm as opposed to just irrigation? ie, grassland with irr is 2 food, farm is three or what ever the numbers are.

I want to mod civ3 to include some of the things I liked best about civ2 but were taken out for civ3. Unfortunaly, I cannot go back to civ2 since I no longer have the game and I really really like the culture, alt ways to win, colinies, and other things about civ3. I really do miss the movies though.... I thought a new version was supposed to be an upgrade?

I used to play Civ1 until my eyes bugged out and then glazed over. Then I got about three years ago and haven't slept since.... :) I've heard Civ3 is pretty good.

Both Civ: CTPs are HORRIBLE!!!! ToT was pretty good. I liked the addition of animated units. I thought the "upgraded" graphics were worse than the original ones, though.

When Civ 2 'upgraded' from Civ 1, many were disappointed to see the end of game replay had disappeared.

This was a disappointment of Civ2, to be sure, but its re-addition to Civ3 isn't a good reason by itself to play an entire game of Civ3. :p

he 50% is rounded down -- so a desert is zero, irrigated desert is one and a farmed desert is unexciting; irrigated plains becomes two, farmed plains are three; wheat is three, irrigated wheat is four & farmed wheat is six.
