Game of the Month 107: February 2010


Game Settings:
Civilization: Russians
Map: Small map; random civ's, round
Difficulty: Prince
Barbarians: Restless Tribes
Restarts: On
Victory by conquest only



Starting Techs:
~ Bronze Working
~ Warrior Code



This month just a normal conquest game. Have fun.

Games will be due on March 14th, 2010.

How many civs ? This looks ideal for "Lean EC" players like Grigor [and now Hexer?]. Maybe I will also try that style on this GOTM.
 
My strat doesn't really work with restarts on. You need a lot of luck because you won't have the supporting troops/ships to hunt down the respawns.

Now that I see the pic... no resources at start location. :( Have to think about what to do.

Oh, I didn't notice the restarts. That certainly hurts the lean approach. But the small map hurts the big-economy approach [assuming you go for EC rather than Gold] ... so I guess this is a case for "the normal approach" !
 
:lol: I was still with my head in the GotM 106 thread. But instead of doing uni stuff, as I should've, I played Civ II before. So I'll finish for sure. But there's some strange things I have to figure out with Magic. Does anyone else here play with MGE from the Chronicles CD?
