In this game, the key award must go to MarleysGh0st for being - umm - the only submission not to earn an award!

Of those who did get awards, I doubt anyone will be surprised to see Cactus Pete winning the gold medal and fastest domination (1565AD). damnrunner picked up silver, and Cat Behemoth, after a long absence from the GOTMs, has bounced straight back in with a bronze medal.

Congratulations to everyone (not least for overcoming the hurdles Microsoft has now placed in the way of playing vanilla Civ4 on Windows)

Here's where everyone settled.

I must confess to some surprise that so many of you opted to settle in place. I know you started on a plains hill, but to permanently lose the ability to build a lighthouse on that seafood and inland lakes....? (And I can't help noticing the the gold and silver medals both went to the only people who moved to the coast!)

The Small Print:
The numbers by each player's name indicate the turn settled on (starting turn is 0). Players are colour coded by game class (challenger=red, adventurer=blue). Symbols indicate victory condition, if there's no symbol then the player either retired or was defeated. The yellow border indicates the land that was visible at the start of the game.

Wow! I think that's the ultimate "Mediocrity" award! Maybe there's a reason I've been playing this game for so long and I'm still stuck at Monarch level.
