GOTM 24 First Spoiler

@da Vinci, @oizar, you both are right.
I just wanted to stress the importance of not building a forge because the city is hammer poor. Your reasons to build a forge are very valid.

Indeed, a forge won't make a hammer-poor city into a hammer-rich city! ;) So we are all three right, on three different questions. :goodjob:

Make sure your CivilizationIV.ini file is edited to autosave every turn.
Thanks. I have now done so.
I used to be a perfectionist too. That forced me to reload hundreds of times in my private games back in Civ3. Guess what? I only finished 1 game in years and years of gaming!
Ditto.
So, if you want my sincere advice, try and play 2 or 12 games in quick speed.... so open GOTM25 and do it! I did so and I get much more pleasure from playing now.
So far I've got to a few hundred BC in GOTM25 without reloading, which is a lot better than ever before. Thanks for the encouragement.
