With a 8100 point defeat "ouch thats gotta hurt" and gets you the Philibuster Green Ambulance.

:) :) :)

Seems to me that this has been one of the most successful GOTMs yet for all kind of reasons.

The number of players entering seems to go up and up with lots of new players appearing in the lists.

Phil's Filibuster awards have added a whole new sense of fun to the competition. It ain't just about the small number of people at the top who win any more.

Congrats to everybody

and especially to .:goodjob: matrix :goodjob: for all the hard work he puts in.

The results are coming out later and later and it seems to me thats its now too much for anyone to do on their own. We need a better, more streamlined and automated way of doing things.

At the same time, its clear that there are cheaters out there who need to be weeded out. We now have a GOTM Police committee who check entries and many thanks to all those who give up their time on what is largely a thankless task behind the scenes.

Finally GOTM 12 will be out soon - and yes Col managed to scrape another win in GOTM 11 but no lollypops I expect.

I am hurt :splat:
Now I'm just a loser. But fortunately you're a much bigger loser than me, Karch ;)

Golly, can't wait to have a look at his building strategy!:)
I manage to kill relatively early, but this is good!

Congratulations to all the winners! I ran the results through a formula discussed in the "GOTM Suggestion" thread. Here are the results for anyone interested.

Sorry about the fast launch Kemal. I had been playing nothing but early launch games at the time, trying to refine the 'best' dates for the formula mentioned above. I wouldn't have done nearly as well otherwise. Your's and Lawrence's launches are both very good games IMO (check out the formula to see just how good), it's a shame the early victories are hit or miss that way.

Alain's game is truely amazing. The 'base' score especially, better than a lot of much later victories (mine included  ). Cartouche Bee was within a couple hundred points of a 'perfect' milking score on that map as well. Nicely done on both accounts! :goodjob:

Yet again you have DOMINATED the GOTM Field!!

AND, I believe Congrats are in order for your taking over of the #1 Position in the Hall Of Fame............Perhaps that will cause SirPleb to come out of "Retirement"!? ;)

Since when are apologies needed for playing flawless games? we both play the same game so you just did it better than me. :goodjob:

Be careful, however, because if you keep up this way I may be tempted to try and extort your "secret of refining" :scan: ;) .

thanks Serg, you was not bad too.
Maybe you can beat me in GOTM XI ??? futur will answer to this question!!

My strategy was only a few city -> temple -> barracks and after thats only chariot and horseman for an early attack...

Hi alain!
My main cities were producing the military only but other cities were building settlers and workers for cupture the map.
Did you have the early GL for FP? You leave me behind on the much time. I couldn't do this even I had the better luck.

Yeh, I did the same, but probably slowed down somewhere. I had the game wrapped up in 340AD or something. Can't remember the exact date. I also switched to knights at some stage and might have build a few more cities than needed.

I also didn't start the game without any winning strategy. This I think was maybe key to the 600 years difference.

Still would love to see where you built your cities and when you started the rush! :)

Col;

An automated system is on-the-way. Hopefully we can speed up the score processing - and the policing - at least in time for GOTM 12. :)

Sulla is listed as having won by Space Ship. Shouldn't it be Cultural? (like he said?)
