Graphics card support: ATI Radeon Mobility 9000 (32MB)

Hi,

Has anybody gotten CivIV working on the ATI Radeon Mobility 9000 (32MB)? I have seen a few people mention success with the 9000, but they either are using the 64MB version or don't say which.

I tried running the demo; each time, I get to a screen that says "loading civilizations" and the system locks up, entirely and has to be rebooted. I know there are ATI patch files for the registered version, though, so before I upgrade my video card, I'd like to hear if this works for anybody else.

P.S. I tried searching the forums, but Google thought the search "radeon 9000 32mb" looks like a robotic query and blocked me from searching the forums any more.

There's another search menu that's a bit more local. That google thing atop the forum kinda blows.

waywardson, did you get a full version of the game running on a 32MB card?!
