Which graphics card is recommended for Civ4 ?. I have NVIDIA GeForce4 MX440 ,I tested it and it only meets minimum requirements.

thats just what I have. (with only 64mb Vid mem)

It works, but it sometimes crashes on big maps, and custom flags dont work.
And it really didn't work till I upgraded to 1.52. So make sure to do that

Do you mean patch 1.52 ?. I did that.It helped a little but when I start a game,the computer still shows : your machine / 2.66 GHz Pentium 4, 512 MB DDR SDRAM memory, 128 MB DDR SDRAM NVIDIA graphics/ is below recommended specifications etc.

A 256mb video card is highly recommended. For nvidia, go 6000 series or higher so that you get the latest version of Pixel Shader (3.0). NewEgg has some 6600/6800's in the $100-200 range.

Upping your overall system RAM would help immensely, too.
