Graphics Problem Chronicles: As the skies and cities turned red...

Hello all, I've had a bit of a problem after installing a "new" video card. See, I had to give my step-mother my old eVGA GeForce 5200 when her video card went the way of a nOOb's civilization. When I had my 5200, Civilization 4 worked (barely), so, I decided to get a card with a bit more pizzazz. I ended up getting a PNY NVIDIA based 6200 (woot, big "upgrade".) The game works much better...except for one glaring problem...

The opening splash screen and, while in game, all of the items on the map (except units) are red! This is a great annoyance - just as my computer can start operating this game with any sort of decency, this graphics error makes me see red!

Alright, enough of my babbling. Here's a link to two in-game screen shots. Attached is also my DirectX Diagnostic Report. Just to let you all know, I'm using Civilization 1.61 without any mods. In addition, as you may see from the dxdiag.txt file, my drivers are up-to-date.

Any help, should it be useful or not, will be greatly appreciated. Hell, thanks just for taking the time to read this post.

Hmmm, I guess we can the mod after something relating the state property...

Hmmm, I'll try it out probably tomorrow. Thanks for the help! Since we're talking drivers, I'm going to be building a new system and I got a GeForce 8800 GTS, are there any known issues between Civilization and this series?

EDIT: Reading the post, I noticed that it is the GT cards that are having the problem...
