Graphics update question

I tried to play Team Fortress II and was told to update my graphics drivers, or something similar, I went to the Radeon webside and downloaded one of the drivers that go with my computer

I did it and now none of my games work, any idea how I could fix this?

Possibly you downloaded the wrong driver? Check again, or try to completely uninstall your current driver and reinstall the updated one.

PS: its Radeon, Radon is a chemical element

as long as I spelled something correctly.....

I'd like to uninstall it but what would happen? could i just download it agian or would I need something else?

Well, as long as you dont fark around with the drivers too much, you can potentially just try the same driver. If that doesnt work, google Omega Drivers. They're based on the Catalyst suite, but have some modifications and ive found them to work just as well ( I've had at most 5% drops in performance, and at best 40% gains)

You could also try flashing your gpu bios, if your card has one, but the culprit is likely the drivers, as said above.

Flashing bios is a bad idea and should only be a last resort. Rendering your video card useless would be extremely bad if you mess up.

Just tell steam to stop bugging you about updating drivers.
