So nobody thinks that i'm obsessed with Stonehenge, i found this information during my trip to the the UK and Ireland and my thread about Stonehenge kept my mind set on learning about it. I visited the Great Orme Copper Mines in Wales. They were built over 4,000 years ago, during the bronze age. That is the time that i think the Beakers were working on Stonhenge. Also, they were the one who brough in the blue stones to the stone circle. Also, they had to leave near Stonehenge to work on it and Wales is relativley close to Salisbury Plain. (stonhenge's location)so i think it is possible that when they transported the stones through wales(this is based on the likely path they took to get the stones to the circle)a group of them settled there. this could also, prove why the stones are still blue and well, intact. they put a copper or bronze coating onto the stones for protection from rain or lightning or whatever. the copper bonded with the stone and literally became a part of it.
I am basically asking for people's 2 cents on it.

Whether it was the Beakers that brought the bluestones to Stonehenge, or the earlier megalithic culture, is disputed. I've never heard of any "copper-casing" theories connected with Stonehenge or any other megaliths.
