All Planescape: Torments characters were great but Dak'kon was probably the greatest...

The way the story unwound in Myth 2 created some pretty cool characters too, but you never controlled them directly, they just were there somewhere... and I don't remember their names either :( , Garret perhaps? but I think that's Thiefs main character, no matter - great storytelling...

I like Blizzards stories and characters too, they have no problem twisting stories and killing main characters or making them turn evil... "No not Uther!!! he's a hero from the prequel!!"...or Arthas, it's not great but it's still better than some rpgs like the OC in NWN. These things can be enough, I thought WC3:s gameplay lacked but I still played the entire singleplayer-campaign just to follow the story through.

All of the Playable charecters from Maniac Mansion. Razor, David, Bernard, Michael, etc.

That is such a great game, each of the charecter combinations give you different endings.

Nobody mentioned Master Chief yet? That's a surprise.
