Maybe build it yourself is a good idea...the only problem (for me) is to build it, as I don't usually focus on religious research.

There's pros and cons to every research path. Sometimes ignoring religion to focus on other things can be helpful, but there's always drawbacks. Before the AP, there wasn't too much reason to pay attention to the religion game, now it's important.
