GTA4 online

I've become minorly addicted to online GTA, in that it never seems to get dull. Anybody else play?

The airport is great fun, and recently I've found auto-aim disabled increasingly enjoyable thanks to the multicar pile-ups it encourages.

I dunno bout GTA 4 online, but the first time I played San Andreas Online, I had great fun flying a bus over Los Santos (Is that the name?) by driving up a building with the super-bus. (I think it's called Cabbie or something.)

I have a question for GTA4 and any other online console game in general. How come if you don't have a headset and others do, you can barely hear them. 2 of my friends who have a 360 and a ps3 say similar things. My theory is that to hear people with headsets louder, you need a headset. Can anyone prove/disprove this?
