Gypsy Kings - pitboss session (closed game)

i logged in and think i finished my turn but the host is now gone from hamachi and the server was incredibly slow...
 
R1 destroyed my connecting road-tile that was outside my culture. I was surprised that he would do that during peace. Of course the game allows it, but there is at least one other thing about a human peace deal that is different from an AI peace deal, namely the length.

No biggie, I am new to multiplayer so am bound to be surprised a few times. Just want everybody to be clear on the rules. And I can't ask hw now if he is surprised by this.
 
I apologize for this action and promise not to do it again.:sad: I did it out of habit as I often do this in a "normal" game to slow down the opposition. But you are right, given that we have a peace deal, it was probably inappropriate.

Now that being said, we may want to create some rules around actions outside cultural borders for the future. Barbs often destroy roads outside culture when given the opportunity(not that I am a barbarian, or maybe I am:rolleyes:).

Just something to think about and discuss.
 
This wasn't included in the peace deal but certanly could have been...
 
Well, if you consider it to have been an act of war, then go to war ...

If R1 is really sorry, he will go rebuild it for you ...

If anyone is interested in my repeated log in attempts, it's because my connection via Hamachi from Uni often seems to fail. Although sometimes I do manage to connect eventually. It's quite frustrating.
 
It disapeared from hamachi, probly the computer / or the game crashed...

This might give someone some time to focus on the sgotm game instead of the pitboss game while we wait for munro to return.

Looks like it was a problem again with my internet connection at home. I've reset it and reloaded the game back to the beginning of C63's last turn (since he was the last to play before the internet connection went down).

So everything is now back up at 650BC with 39 hours on the clock. C63 - sorry, you'll need to replay your last turn. Unfortunately there's only an autosave at the beginning of each player's login (and at the end of each turn), not when you log out.

Looks like there may be a problem though with either the cabling here or the modem. I'm looking into it to see what we can do to prevent a repeat.

I bet it is just the unstable pitboss or civstats program that caused this.
