Halo: Pc version

Halo has just recently came out for PC. Being a noob at the game, it was easy enough to adapt even with my piece of junk computer. Years or playing Quake 3 and CS, all helped me be good at Halo even on my first time out.

I love the X-box version. My crummy PC cant run it however. What are the differences bewteen the two?

Multiplayer
New levels?
New weapons?
Map editor?


Single-Player
More diffucult?
Longer?

6 new levels I believe.

A couple new weapns.

2 new vehicles.

Not sure about the editor.

Single player is awesome.

Don't know about difficulty, can't really compare.

Fun.

Ok. We console player will get that soon enough in Halo 2 anyway.

Wildfire, what are your computers specs? You said you could play it (and by the looks of it, play it well) and probably smoothly. C&C Generals came out half a year ago, and my computer barely ran it. It's P4, 2.4 Ghz with 40 Gigs of free space and 240 RAM, but the video card isnt too good (a SiS 650). I am thinking about purchasing Halo for PC, but I am not to sure it would run an OK speed on my computer.

Thanks for the sympathy . I am looking for a new one, but I want to get one that is very good, but not that expensive and won't become obselete soon.

Heh, my computer sucks.

I got cable, which imo is a MUST to have for online gaming. Have only 10 GHZ which sucks. 256 RAM and lots of space.

But your video card sucks. Don't bother with the game. You'll regret it.

(It does run ok for me, I just have experience shooting people)

BTW, I have a fast internet (100 MBs a second, Sympatico high speed).
