[R&F] Has anyone seen the AI use "join my war"?

I'm wondering if "join my war" is bugged. Every time I ask the AI to join my war using "what will it take?" it adds gold and gold per turn to their side of the table. I then need to add a smaller amount of gold to my side of the table to be able to get them to accept.

So every single time (on my King game) the AI has paid me to join my war. I'm wondering whether the need to have gold on both sides of the table is preventing the AI from using this feature as I haven't seen the AI joining AI wars.

This is a bug. You also get redundant warmonger warning for starting a war. But war is already started and this warning should be "addressed" to AI not you.
It is Vice Versa. Join Ongoing War is seriously bugged.

Usually when I ask, I offer 10 gpt. This usually gets accepted, then I start reducing the amount down. It usually ends up costing 1-3 gpt.
