Has the buffer overflow been corrected ?

Hi everyone,

I haven't played Civ II in a while but now that I started playing Civ IV BtS I'm tempted to try another game of Civ II as well. Now I stopped playing Civ II after making the scoring buffers overflow when I reached Future Tech 256. Does anyone know whether this limited address space problem has ever been corrected ?

As far as I know it's not corrected.
