My hard drive have bad habit to lose data. Sometimes it will destroy save games and sometimes everything whats in HD. I have noticed that HD will act like this if I do it to use 200GB. Now I have only two partitions made and their sum size is 100Gb and HD is working fine. I have only one problem now; I'm running out of space! I would have to do third partition or at the same time fourth, but I'm afraid of that it will destroy again all data.

I have second HD which size is 60Gb and in that HD is Windows so I don't have to fear that I will lose operating system.

Could somebody help me with this issue?

Have you scanned everything with a reputable Virus scanner? From the details you give it sounds very much like a virus or trojan at work.

If that is negative, get a hard disk diagnostic software tool and check the drive to see if it is okay - you may have a physical problem with that part of the disk, especially if it works okay using a part of it and crashes when using the other half. SiSandra is a good tool - you can diagnose a lot with it. Shareware - here is a link for it on CNet - Click here

Good Luck! :)

EDIT: Also could be your pc BIOS is not playing well with the large hard drive ...make sure your BIOS is up to date and setup correctly and your motherboard is rated for the type of hard disk you are using. Again, SiSandra is a big help in finding this out.

Virus test was negative (happy thing allways :D) I have to try that diagnostic software. My friend told something about that I should update circuit something, I can't explain it but it included motherboard somehow.
