Heat #2: Battle of the Civs!

Hey again and thanks for voting in heat #1! Korea won a decisive victory with 17 votes. Runner-up England finished at 10 and still has a chance at a spot in the Grand Finale!

Hope to get even more votes in heat #2!

Rules:
*In the coming five days I will post one heat per day. The winner of each heat qualifies for the Grand Finale of the Battle of the Civs, along with the three best runner-ups.
*Each heat will be active for one day.
*I will not try to balance the heats. The civilizations for each heat will be picked randomly by me (until the last heat, which will come down to a process of elimination).
*You will vote for any reason you like. Do you live in the area this civ represent? Are you in love with looking like a fried egg when playing as Assyria? Is island hopping as Carthage the only type of game that interests you? Do you only enjoy blasting through the tech tree as Korea or Babylon? Do you think Gandhi is so damn cute you just wanna pinch his little nose? Anything goes!

Assyria? Pretty darn good. Aztecs? Nope, they're lame. The Huns? Perhaps. The Ottomans? Nope. Russia? Sure. Spain? Haha, no way. Worst UA ever. Sweden? Meh. The Zulus? Perhaps.

I'll vote for Assyria. Gaining technology while warmongering? Perfect for hard difficulties!

Well, as long as we can vote for any reason we feel like, I'll go with Sweden, because it's the only civilization in the list that has blue as a color (unless you consider the strange teal-like color of the Aztecs) and I like Adolphus' beard.

Love the Aztecs and surprised they got so many votes. Health when a unit kills another, culture when a unit kills another and fast movement for your Jaguars through woods.

You can explore quickly and decide between a cultural victory or domination once you've scouted the local area.

I went with Aztecs. Monty is disappointing me in my current game, though. He's just running an OCC. WTH?! I wanted epic battle!

So many civs I like to warmonger with in this heat! Reaks of aggression to me, love it! Some of my favorite opponents are here too. I'd feel too cliché voting Sweden, though I love gifting generals for 90 influence. I really love everything about the Aztecs, I get an overall good feeling playing as them and Monty is one of my favorite opponents. Yeah, Aztecs for me.

Assyria - Ashurbanipal has the best beard of them all, and there aren't that many civs that you can slaughter the entire continent with in less than 100 turns without losing a single unit

Gonna pick Sweden. Caroleans are fantastic and come just as melee units are getting good, and the fact that the UA is amazing for warmongering will never stop amusing me. One of my favorite domination civs. The AI isn't too shabby either, not Alex/Hiawatha/Sejong good but they've Gustavus has been known to runaway a few times.
