Hello All RoM Players - Please Read

I mean - this is what is completed:
KMod + BAT Graphics including Blue Marble + Mastery Victory + Mastery Victory has been tweaked so that the AI understands how to use it.

In terms of simply merging ROM + MMod (My version of KMod) - thats not what I'm doing. Too many things in ROM are broken. What will be done is simply hand-picking texts, builidngs, techs, resources, units, wonders and moving them into my mod.

After that, its possible that civics will be updated. At this point, I am simply deciding on what techs to add (whether or not I want to hand-pick techs or port the entire tech tree over), and buildings, wonders, units, etc. Because since some things may change, that would change how/what civics are added.

I would like to add revolutions, as well, but it depends on the amount of bugs in the revolutions as to whether it is deemed stable enough to use.

My upcoming goals include:
-Looking into moving Revolutions into the mix
-Porting over the civs, leaders, techs, buildings, units, resources, wonders
-Debating on civic changes
-Considering the positive/negative effect of some ROM-specific changes from the dynamic corporations, surround and destroy, etc.

@ Mattygerst,

Version 2.81 for RoM was a very stable mod as long as you didn't use the REV Option. REV still had some major problems cropping up. But I'm going to assume that you are hand picking from RoM2.92.

On the Techtree side, there is a major religion founding bottleneck around Poly/Mono. So whomever is the Tech leader (once they get there) can found up to 5 of the Original Religions in very short order. This is now being addressed in C2C. It's been a problem for sometime that was left unaddressed in RoM and AND.

On the REV note, if you do include it, would you please consider keeping it as an Option.

And on Leaders, Get the original Dido. Not the overblown 2nd one. ;)

Hoping to hear more about your plans and progress soon. :)

@ Matty,

How's it going? Got any news for us?

Its coming along. Have ported over GEM map so that it can be used.

Currently perfecting Mastery Victory so that it is more enjoyable to play than simply the normal victory conditions. The game should be much more competitive with it enabled now than the current victory conditions alone.

Also attempting to fix the 48-civ DLL so that there isn't such a slow-down in turn-time.

Next is scanning the bugs in Revolutions and then probably release. And yes, Rev would be optional.

-Dynamic Civ Names

I hope you leave out Fixed Borders and City Limits. I've seen way too many problems arise out of both of these additions. If they are included please keep them optional.

Can't wait to see what you've gotten accomplished! :D

I'm also really curious to try out this mod. I liked the level of depth of RoM 2.92, plus some of the initial changes of AND before it started getting over-engineered. Not to rush you, I know this stuff can suck up a lot of time.

@ Matty
You should play Realism Invictus - the mod is avesome (new combat system - aid support, military dostrines and traditions, pandemics and world units) http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=411799

Maybe You wll want to import something from it to your mod

@ MattyG,

How's it coming buddie? Got ant progress reports for the fans to chew on? ;)

JosEPh :)

Thanks to your inspiration, I'm hoping we can combine our ideas and create a bridge between these idea. I believe we all share a common goal. The best Civ IV mod and Civilization Game possible. Hope you feel the same.

Please let me know what you think.
