hello and help needed about knight death.flc file

hello u all
as u all can see im very new in this furom , i never knew about his exitenc so...
before i beging just let u know that i got a small spelling problam so dont mind about it
my problam is
when im playing c3c (second hand game im not sure if it's the original) the game allways looking for the file knight death.flcand exit becuz he cant find it
i try to copy the file from the civ 3 folder but nothing happand (i think they r corrupt) its still stuck
i try to find a solution in the furom but no luck
so please ppl i realy want to keep playing
any help will be appreciate

Hi, welcome to CFC.

You have an error with your Knight folder. Go to C:/Program Files/Infogrames Interactive/Civilization III/Art/Units/Knight , and make sure that the name of the Knight Death.flc in the text file named "Knight" matches the name in the folder. If you get the name in the text file right, you shouldn't have this problem. Good luck.

I think that that was a mis-named file in the 1.00 rel of C3C, I think any of the patches would correct it. Might as well load the lastest 1.22.

I think like Ginger Ale said, the file name doesn't match the unit INI file entry.

You could fix it manually, but the patch would correct many other things.
