how do you establish an embassy

Press the E button on your lower right hand corner to establish an embassy. Or your can right click the star next to your capital's name and click establish embassy.

I think Ctrl-Shift-E will also work... you also need Writing and some gold...

Somewhere on this site is a PDF file with a list of all the hotkeys... If I figure out where I've seen it I'll post a link.
