Help a noob!

[Civ-Don]

Hi guys.

I'v got the 1.07 version of civ3, and i want to install new mods, cities, units etc and after i'v downloaded into the scenario folder, i cant access them from the game.

Is there an update i eed to install first before i can use these updates?

If so, where can i find it, andhow can i get the updates running!

Hi, Wecome to CFC!

I'm not much of a modder, or user of mods, but I would imagine most mods will expect Civ3 1.29f, PTW 1.27f or C3C 1.21. You should be able to find those patches somewhere here.

So the mods are made to work with updated versions only i guess.

Just need to find the right patch then.....

We have a download area called Civ3 - Official Patches & Updates.

and just so you don't get confused the latest Conquest patch is 1.22. Bartleby almost had it.

Also note that most of the mods (and there some really awesome ones) will require Conquests/Complete. The units however can go in whatever version you have.

the difference between 1.21 and 1.22 when "latest" is the only word that matters is nothing to bang your head over.
