i dunno which companies RAM memory are compatible with it,cant find no info on their (www.shuttle.com) site either

ive already bough one kind that wont work, the guy at place where we got the shuttle at told me to get kingston RAM,im gonna buy a 256 mb one

dose anyone have a clue what i should buy?

and what kind of processor too, if you know, would be much appericiated :)

from THIS page:

Memory
2 x 184 pin Socket support DDR200/266 unbuffer DDR SDRAM
up to 2GB

Go to Crucial.com and search for your computer. They'l tell you the max RAM you can get and you can buy it straight off that site.

thanks guys,i changed the ram with the ones my brother had inside his pc and they worked, but then my computer just shuts done after maybe 5 minutes use,and aroud 50 minutes if started but left unused,he said its because of overheating so i got some coolant gel and applied it,seems to be working for now,it might shut done soon again and cost money(go to the computer place with it, so they can figure oout what the crap is wrong with it)

thank you

Does the fan seem to be running smoothly at normal speed? A new fan is a fairly cheap fix. Also make certain all the dust and gunk is blown out. Mine fills with dog hair regularly and it does make a difference.

thx actually the fan did make some very unpleasent noise like something got caught in itbut i opened the pc .and it looked fine, put on the gel on the processor and my brother messed with the fan speed in bios and now my computer works fine, thanks you everybody for all the help

this is one of few nice things about internet, the fact that you can ask other people for help and usually get it too!!

much thanks
