Help - can't locate disk

I have had Civilazation 4 for months now and have been playing it regulalry... All of a sudden it won't let me play the game anymore... My computer says it can't locate the disk... It doesn't appear scrached and I tried to reinstal that and that doesn't work any ideas...

So it can find the disk to reinstall - just not to play? Have you installed the patch?
