HELP for DOT mapping and strategical early choices

Therefore you'll have to chose an ally and a victim between Victoria (Fin/Imp) and Gilgamesh (Cre/Pro). Do they dislike each other already? Is there anyway to drive a wedge between them?

One way to pick an ally could be to get to Code of Laws as soon as possible as it appears no one has a religion yet. Send your missionary to your chosen ally. Who to chose seems to be a tough decision.

There's a lot of good suggestions, thanks :)

In this moment the relationship between Victoria and Gilgamesh is +1....

For now I think I'll try to keep good relationships with either, found the 3 cities I've still room for, while consolidating my economy, and then open borders with them so to take a glance and don't go again in "blind" war (I'm still looking for Ivory for my UU...)

To do so, of course, I'm going to research immediately code of laws.

What do you think? :)

I think CoL is the way to go, for the religion, happiness boost, ability to choose your ally, courthouses and then the spy specialist. That's assuming Confuciansim has not yet been founded.

By all means open borders with both and explore their land. I hope you find ivory and get to play with your UU. But if it is deep inside either Victoria's or Gilgamesh's territory you may not get there for a while. The best advice is to stay flexible, but I'm like you, I want to try to use the UU and UB as much as possible.

Regarding your green city, either your site or 1 West of your site is what I would do. It will be a very flexible city with decent production to begin with from copper, cows, horses and 1 hill. Later you can watermill the river or just go cottage spam the whole thing.

Have fun and try to get that great spy. Infiltrating either your friend or your enemy can be worthwhile.:cooool:
