Bah, Netscape sucks. Opera or Mozilla is a far better alternative, plust they also include the built in popup stoppers.

the only good feature about AOL is that it blocks pop-ups. the Google ToolBar also blocks pop-ups, but I wouldn't be suprised if it installs spyware.

try AdAware 6. it's free and it erases cookies as well as Spyware. you can download it by clicking here.

I know people always recommend bits of software in these threads and nobody ever listens. But you must listen to this:

Mozilla Firebird will make the internet better for you.

There are plenty of people here that will back me up.

Rather than use adaware or sybot, use both. Each misses things that the other doesn't. And remember - just like a virus scanner, they work much better if you keep them up-to-date with the definition files.

...and when using spybot be sure to use the immunization option, which will save some of the hassle of getting some of that crap on there in the 1st place.
