HELP! Maps!

This might sound stupid to you experts but I still can't solve the problem .

I have been using some world maps including those which come with Civ3 and one 180X180 from the net. How do you make it so that the players start in the proper locations? Everytime I start the games the players are all over the place. English in Egypt, Babylonians in Zululand... hehe

Unfortunately, one of the shortcomings of the editor is the lack of civ-specific starting positions. Workaround have been found, however, so you can get some maps with correct starting positions from the saved game maps forum

I'd suggest Marla_Singer's world map. It's great, and you can have correct starting locations with it. Just download it and follow the directions.

Thats not good. Civ Specific starting positions were great... Will they solve the problem? And is that why scenarios are unexistant?
