I need to know how to change Roservelt to Washington? I'd also like to know how to remove a Civ? I modified a premade earth made that already had all 18 Civs in it. Help?!

Dude, you've only waited 2 hours. Expect to wait a day or two. Anyway, today is your lucky day. If you want to remove a civilzaition from the game, just remove that entire section. You may also have to change some team stuff, I'm not sure myself, ask if you can't get it to work. If you want to change the leader from Roosevelt to Washington, switch this:

LeaderType=LEADER_FRANKLIN_ROOSEVELT

to this:

LeaderType=LEADER_WASHINGTON

Why do you want to change Roosevelt to Washington? Washington's already there.

Do you just want to make Roosevelt unplayable so that it's always Washington?

As for removing a Civ, what do you want to remove the Civ from? The entire game? A particular map?

Hey, changing the name doesnt seem to work? All it does is seems to remove the Americans as a starting race! I want George Washingtons picture and Leader abilities in this game. Not Roosevelt! Anything you or others can think of?

I never moded Civ3 but this is pretty modder friendly.

Im trying to remove Rooservelt as Leader and put Washington in on a World map Im using. How do I do this? Ive also explained in the above postings.

I am not really familiar with the mod you are using. From the looks of things on this thread though, if both Washington and Roosevelt are in the mod then you just need to erase the team with Roosevelt. If both are not in the mod then you just need to change all of the referances to Reoosevelt and replace them with Washington.

I tried that and it just ended up removing America from the game. I put in Washington where Rooservelt was and then America was gone! LOL Help?!

Anyway. I just changed the tags the way Head Serf indicates and Washington appears. I would take another look at your file. It doesn't remove the American Civilization from the game, just moves it to the bottom of the list.
