HELP me find a map!

Hello to you all!

I am desperately searching for a certain map that, I think, comes with the Civilization III Conquest expansion (Or was it Play the World?). I am not exactly sure! I remember when I was playing the map back in 2005. I would love to play it again...

Now, the map is an Island map. It has much to do with colonization, because all of the start locations begin on small/medium sized islands, that are neatly positioned one above the other. The resources are scarce, so you are forced to sail West, in order to find a huge continent. I remember trying to put a barracks in one of my newly founded cities, but it was near to impossible because of the rampant corruption (which is normal considering the distance from the Capital).

Can anyone recollect?

In the 'Civ-Content' list that was included with my C3Complete-installation (from GamersGate, I believe the Steam-version is similar), there are a couple of fan-made map-only mods (i.e. using the epic-game rules) which closely match your description, and several others that might conceivably be a match (at a stretch):

.bix (for PtW, can also be loaded via Conquests)
Barbarian Stronghold (180 x 180)
Island Hop (80 x 80, 12(?) Civs)
mid island (100 x 100)
The Land of Plenty (plenty.bix) (100 x 100) -- this looks like the most likely match
Strategic Conquest (80 x 80, but 6-12 Civs)
4 Islands and a Bay (thebay.bix) (100 x 100)

.bic (for Vanilla, can also be loaded via PtW or Conquests)
8 Kingdoms (100 x 100)
Imperialism (100 x 100)
Islands (100 x 100)
Skull_Island (80 x 80)
The Promised Land (100 x 100) -- this looks like the second most likely match

Do you have any of these in your installation?

Do not forget, that when all else fails, and you are about to throw the computer through the window, you can put the scenario into the editor and make some adjustments.
