I honestly do not understand the AI/diplomacy. I was playing as USA on the my atlas map, so spain has Miami, France has Louisiana. I have tried to buy the cities off of them but no luck, then out of the blue spain bought its Amada to my shores declared war on me and we fought for Atlanta.
I successfully drove them back and then i went to take Miami as i do not fancy a warmonger on my borders, i successfully took Miami and even though i had killed all of her troops Isabella still didnt want to negotiate for peace, she said " let us put down our arms for the good of our nations, i was like sure, she wanted Atlanta, Boston and Chicago, All of my Coal and Iron resources, half of my money & open borders for her to walts on through. so i obvioulsy said no, i went to West Africa to find she was ammassing an army, i took down two of her Frigates with one of mine and retreated back, then she still didnt want peace and now i have decided to take Havanah and maybe give it her back for peace, im currently fighting for the city, but if that should not work what should i do ? and why did Napolean take a German city just to raze it and then make peace ?
