Okay , I am now moving from Noble to Prince and i need help trying to beat the AI, can any of you wise old experience players teach me

Also i usually play the Earth Map and just switch back to normal and as you know, the earthmap is squashed with resources and hills unlike the more sparse normal maps. CAn someone help me adjust back to normal map

Sounds like you're a bit of an isolationist as on the earth map you get everything yourself. Don't be afraid to trade.
It's not too difficult to get resources you need through trade. Expect to be behind at the start of the game techwise. Just hang in there. Maybe you can use a military civ with a good UU early on so you can withstand attacks.
